You do not use the the name of the boyfriend, the picture, or the
caption.
Since the boyfriend is not a suspect it would be foolish to imply that
he is one. If he is never considered a suspect by the police he could
probably sue successfully for libel. Running the picture if quite
graphic, whole be in bad taste but it is not against the law or a matter
of libel.
OR
Would you run the story using the name of the boyfriend, the picture,
and the caption?
OR
Would you run the story using the picture but foregoing the caption, and
the use of names?
